Overview

Hotel Café Royal is a luxury 5 star hotel in London which enjoys an unrivalled setting, where the elegance of Mayfair, energy of Soho and sophistication of St. James combine. It's where history, culture, business and the stage are just steps away. That's one reason why, for 150 years, people who make a difference have made their way through these doors. Frequented by writers and artists such as Oscar Wilde and Aubrey Beardsley, the conversations, inspirations and discussions at ‘The Café’ were profound.

Distinguished figures such as Winston Churchill, Diana Princess of Wales, D H Lawrence, Virginia Woolf, Mick Jagger and David Bowie were also often seen. Hotel Café Royal has always been the vibrant living room of London, the place to convene, converse and celebrate. One of the leading design hotels in London, Hotel Café Royal has been sympathetically restored by David Chipperfield Architects.

The serene rooms and suites have been created in a modern and sophisticated style characterised by a refined simplicity touched with grand classical features in stone and copper. The overall effect of the hotel’s 160 guestrooms and suites, including seven signature suites that echo the glories of Café Royal’s past, is calm, assured and distinctive.

Continuing its celebrated legacy, the hotel offers a selection of restaurants and bars, including the brand new grill and sushi restaurant 'Laurent at Café Royal' by internationally renowned chef Laurent Tourondel. Hotel Café Royal also boasts it's own Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre which features 9 treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art gym and a 19 meter pool.
