An expansive decking area incorporates a private plunge pool, sun lounges and a daybed area, inviting guests to relax and take in the stunning views. Leaving the balcony to stroll down a private path, guests will discover another secluded area where chairs and a table have been perfectly positioned to make the most of sea breezes and gorgeous views.Inside, the Pavilion offers every comfort. A Bose sound system with a CD player and iPod connectivity and a laptop computer for downloading and sending emails are among some of the special features.

The guest lounge overlooks the pool and houses the Azure Spa, a small gymnasium and a lounge where a television, video and complimentary internet access is provided.
The extensive wine list features Australian and New Zealand wines or you may select your favorite spirits, liqueurs and cocktails. New cocktails are being created every day on Lizard Island using fresh local produce, and the finest ingredients – choose something from the list of classics, or have something exclusive made depending on your mood.
A Cellar Masters list is also available if you wish to purchase a special wine for the occasion.
Highly acclaimed Executive Chef, Anthony Healy has a culinary career spanning 10 years and the globe – working in top restaurants in London (Les Trois Garcons) and Paris (Demi chef de partie) as well as Australia.
Breakfast is available from 7:00 am to 10:30 am, lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm and dinner from 6:30 pm to 9.00 pm. There is no dress code on Lizard Island, but something more special for night is appropriate – for ladies, relaxed evening wear, and for men, collared shirts and long trousers or tailored shorts.
Lizard Island is able to cater for any special dietary requirements, however due to the resort's location please provide as much notice as possible to ensure we can cater to your needs.
Prior to your dinner, you will meet with the Island’s Chef to discuss your 7-course degustation menu and the matching wine selection. Minimal service interruptions ensure the ultimate seclusion and privacy. Private dining can be booked on arrival or during your stay at Lizard Island. Private dining incurs additional fees, please enquire upon booking.

To Cairns Regular flights are available from all major capital cities in Australia to Cairns Domestic Airport with Qantas Jetstar and Virgin Blue. Ask Delaware North Parks & Resorts for the best available airfares. From Cairns enjoy a scenic 60 minute flight to Lizard Island . Witness spectacular views of the coast, the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding islands.
Sunpalm Coach transfers are provided from the main terminal at Cairns to the Hinterland Aviation terminal. Passengers must advise their connecting flight details 7 days prior to departure. Failure to do so will result in transfers not being arranged. Hinterland Aviation operate transfer flights, which operates out of Cairns Airport. Please note on the service from Cairns to Lizard Island passengers are restricted to one suitcase and one small carry-on item of hand luggage each. Soft suitcases are preferable. A limit of 32 kg (maximum) e.g. 28 kg check in luggage and 4 kg carry on applies (subject to loading restrictions). Luggage storage facilities are available at the Hinterland Terminal.
