The Katara Suite

A private garden terrace on the rooftop of the hotel, accessed by ascending a short flight of steps from The Katara Suite, which occupies a large part of the 6th floor, literally puts Paris at your feet. Art Déco furniture, exceptional paintings, and both contemporary and antique sculptures combine seamlessly to create a refined and comfortable ambience. Hues of silver and beige tones gently complement the breathtaking view over Paris and its distincive zinc rooves. Just a small simple step onto the balcony of the suite offers a captivating look at the scenes along the Avenue Kléber. An adjoining room can be added to share what promises to be an unforgettable stay.

The Historic Suite

To preserve the same spirit that prevailed in this landmark location more than a century ago, The Peninsula Paris called upon the finest craftsmen in the French capital – those possessing a unique and artisanal know-how. These artisans worked tirelessly to source authentic materials, decorations and symbolic motifs, and then restored them authentically and faithfully. In this spirit, each painting and each gilding recreated by the Parisian workshop Mériguet-Carrere transports guests back in time to the memorable places in the Paris of the 1850s. To add a contemporary touch, the bronze and aluminum sculptures by Nathalie Decoster and the paintings of artist Deçan feature in various spaces. Moving from the angular dining room to the living room with its high windows, the soft light of day reveals the Arc de Triomphe in all its majesty. An adjoining room conveniently facilitates family stays.

The Peninsula Suite

The largest suite of the hotel is an authentic Haussmannian residence. High ceilings with exquisite moldings, a fireplace, and large double-doored windows are all signature features of the elegance of traditional Parisian life. The sparkle of fine Baccarat chandeliers reflecting in the smooth black lacquer of a grand piano; the rich silks and brocades created by Prelle; the trimmings of the House of Declercq; and the finesse of Tai Ping carpets steep the décor in tradition, yet harmoniously contrast with the modern curves of the large sofas and elegant mirrors. This spectacular and vastly spacious suite has the ability to adapt according to the number of its occupants. Ideally designed for two adults, each of whom has access to their own dedicated facilities and equipment, it also conveniently connects to two adjoining rooms to offer a large shared haven of tranquility. Last but not least, everything has been designed to ensure the safety and privacy of our most prestigious guests.

L'Oiseau Blanc Restaurant

Located on the 6th floor of the building and offering a stunning view on Paris most famous landmarks and a beautiful summer terrace, L'Oiseau Blanc is one of the most elegant and singular restaurant in Paris. The restaurant offers a typical French cuisine, highlighting the best of French products hand-picked everyday at the market by Chef Sidney Redel. Every week, he creates a new menu, inspired by seasonal ingredients. The aviation-themed interior celebrates flying aces Charles Nungesser and François Coli who attempted to cross the Atlantic in 1927 from Le Bourget.

La Terrasse Kleber

As one of Paris' largest covered terraces, La Terrasse Kléber is café society at its best, with direct pedestrian access from Avenue Kléber to the hotel. The landscaped venue, with its futuristic glass and steel canopy, serves international dishes, drinks and snacks throughout the day – an ideal spot to relax, see and be seen.

Le Bar Kleber

Oak panelling, gilded mouldings, soaring ceilings and giant mirrors mark this historic bar, which offers an extensive collection of cocktails, fine wines, Champagnes, spirits and international whiskies. Immerse into history in this bar where the Paris Peace Accords, which ended the Vietnam War, were signed here in 1973. On sunndy days, double-height windows lead out on to La Terrasse Kléber for drinks al fresco. From 17 March to 7 April, to celebrate the arrival of spring and its cherry blossoms, a selection of bento boxes will be available in the Bar Kléber, a hushed venue sheltered by period gilding and woodwork and offering a wide range of saké, cocktails and Japanese teas as an accompaniment.

Le Lobby Restaurant

This former grand dining room has been meticulously restored to reflect the glory of the Belle Epoque era. It is the perfect setting to experience The Peninsula's famed Afternoon Tea, accompanied by the soothing notes of a jazz duo. Le Lobby offers an all-day international menu, ideal for a break and a bite to eat.

Le Lounge Kleber

A discreet lounge with an intimate atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and savouring a cigar over a drink, together with exclusive cigar storage cabinets for in-house guests. The two paintings on the ceiling of the lounge – representing music and science and geography respectively – were restored by Cinzia Pasquali, who has restored paintings by Leonardo da Vinci at the Louvre, and also worked at the Palace of Versailles.

LiLi Restaurant

With a stunning interior inspired by the best of Chinese and French style, LiLi presents authentic Cantonese cuisine prepared by award-winning Hong Kong chefs.
